If you have lost your pet, call us IMMEDIATELY at 540-434-5270.
- Animals who are found with collars are kept for 12 days.
- Animals without collars are kept for 7 days.
- Lost pets are not necessarily put up for adoption once the 12 or 7 days has passed.
- The Rockingham-Harrisonburg SPCA acts as an impoundment facility for the city and county. Any animals retrieved by animal control officers or the sheriff's office are brought to the shelter.
- If your animal is lost, please call and report it to the shelter right away. Please stop by the shelter to look for your pet. If you have a picture, you can drop it by or email it to us at info@rhspca.org.
- When you come to reclaim your pet, please bring your proof of rabies vaccination and city or county tags with you.
